We are seeking a Bilingual Health & Safety Training and Compliance Specialist to join our client’s team in the Ottawa region.<\/div>\n

    What You’ll Do<\/strong><\/div>\n
      \n
    • \n
      Deliver engaging, interactive health and safety training in English and French to client organizations<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n
      Adapt training content to client-specific environments while ensuring compliance with Ontario Occupational Health & Safety legislation<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n
      Create inclusive, practical learning environments that emphasize real-world application<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n
      Conduct safety gap audits, hazard assessments, and health & safety program reviews<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n
      Provide clear, actionable recommendations to support compliance and continuous improvement<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n
      Work directly with client leadership and key stakeholders to identify risks, strengthen safety culture, and support organizational change<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n
      Support business development by delivering professional services training demonstrations for prospective clients, highlighting practical application, methodology, and value<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n
      Leverage hands-on experience with safety equipment (e.g., forklifts, scissor lifts) to enhance training credibility and demonstrations<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n
      Act as a trusted advisor to both existing and prospective clients across multiple industries<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n
      Maintain accurate training, consulting, and client engagement documentation<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n
      Travel to client sites as required<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      What We’re Looking For<\/strong><\/div>\n
        \n
      • \n
        Fully bilingual (English and French)<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
      • \n
        Minimum 5 years of experience in health & safety training, adult education, or occupational safety roles<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
      • \n
        Strong working knowledge of Ontario Occupational Health & Safety legislation<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
      • \n
        Demonstrated experience delivering professional services-style demonstrations or presentations to support new client acquisition<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
      • \n
        Practical, hands-on experience with health & safety equipment and field environments<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
      • \n
        Strong stakeholder-level communication skills, with the ability to present, influence, and build credibility with client leadership, operational teams, and prospective clients<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
      • \n
        Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing client delivery with demonstration support<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
      • \n
        Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
      • \n
        Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
      • \n
        Certifications such as Working at Heights, MEWP, Forklift, or Confined Space an asset<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
      • \n
        Background in occupational health & safety consulting or program development <\/div>\n
        an asset<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
      • \n
        Experience supporting pre-sales, client onboarding, or professional services<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
