We are currently recruiting for a detail\u2011oriented and technically knowledgeable Procurement & Inventory Coordinator to support a growing, multi\u2011site building supply operation in Eastern Ontario.<\/div>\n

    What You’ll Do:<\/strong><\/div>\n
      \n
    • Source, evaluate, and procure lumber, building materials, and plumbing, electrical, and mechanical products to support multi\u2011site operations<\/li>\n
    • Lead vendor negotiations around pricing structures, rebates, volume discounts, delivery terms, and payment windows<\/li>\n
    • Forecast purchasing requirements in collaboration with operations and management to support sales, construction, and maintenance needs<\/li>\n
    • Monitor inventory levels across locations, ensuring accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and system controls<\/li>\n
    • Identify cost\u2011reduction opportunities and recommend procurement and inventory process improvements<\/li>\n
    • Enter, track, and reconcile purchase orders within the ERP \/ inventory management system<\/li>\n
    • Maintain accurate supplier records, pricing agreements, and purchasing documentation<\/li>\n
    • Coordinate closely with maintenance and operations teams to ensure timely availability of critical parts and materials<\/li>\n
    • Track product usage trends and proactively adjust purchasing and stocking strategies<\/li>\n
    • Analyze inventory, cost, and purchasing data using Microsoft Excel and system reports, supporting management decision\u2011making<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      What We’re Looking For:<\/strong><\/div>\n
        \n
      • Experience working in retail, building supply, construction, or trade-based environments, with strong product knowledge across lumber, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical categories<\/li>\n
      • Demonstrated experience in procurement, purchasing, inventory management, and demand forecasting<\/li>\n
      • High level of computer literacy, with comfort spending extended time working in systems and databases<\/li>\n
      • Hands\u2011on experience using ERP and inventory management systems to manage purchasing and stock levels<\/li>\n
      • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to bring structure and accountability to processes<\/li>\n
      • Confident, professional communicator with proven ability to negotiate and manage supplier relationships<\/li>\n
      • Proactive, assertive, and resourceful problem\u2011solver who takes ownership and drives outcomes<\/li>\n
      • Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency, including reporting, analysis, and tracking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
