What You'll Do: <\/strong> <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n- Mechanical installation according to industry standards<\/li>\n
- Installs new equipment as instructed<\/li>\n
- Performs repairs\/modifications of mechanical problems on plant machinery<\/li>\n
- Troubleshooting and timely repairs of broken-down equipment<\/li>\n
- Complete repairs within a reasonable time frame<\/li>\n
- At workstation when scheduled and remains for duration of assignment<\/li>\n
- Use a logical process to identify and repair breakdowns<\/li>\n
- Able to use welder and grinding equipment etc. to fabricate parts where required<\/li>\n
- Organization of parts areas<\/li>\n
- Correctly enters computer W\/O specific details, parts\/machine shop, requisitions as required<\/li>\n
- Complete documentation of work performed and parts re-order sheets<\/li>\n
- Research parts (where required) so that correct information is provided when requesting parts to be ordered<\/li>\n
- Input required computer information<\/li>\n
- Clearly expresses ideas\/concepts & instructions as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
What We're Looking For:<\/strong><\/div>\n\n- Technical Diploma in a related field and 2 years’ related experience in a manufacturing environment <\/li>\n
- Understand the safety features of the equipment, such as guards, emergency stops, and start up signals<\/li>\n
- Read and understand work order<\/li>\n
- Operate forklift and clamp truck in a safe manner after successful training is completed<\/li>\n
- Communicate to supervisor if unable to work shift for any reason <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
