Our client, a multi-provincial transportation company operating across Canada and the United States. They are seeking a motivated and skilled Dispatcher to join their growing team in Calgary.<\/div>\n

    What You Do:

    <\/div>\n

    • Schedule driver routes to ensure optimal utilization of manpower and equipment.<\/li>\n
    • Monitor and maintain driver safety records and ensure compliance with HOS and safety regulations.<\/li>\n
    • Manage the daily activities of the fleet and coordinate deliveries and pick-ups.<\/li>\n
    • Liaise with the maintenance team to schedule inspections and repairs.<\/li>\n
    • Prepare reports on fleet performance and productivity.<\/li>\n
    • Maintain active communication with other terminals to optimize resource allocation.<\/li>\n
    • Stay informed about the products hauled, transportation regulations, and operating authorities.<\/li>\n
    • Handle clerical duties related to compliance and broker pay.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      Who You Are:

      <\/div>\n
        \n
      • Minimum 2 years of truck dispatching experience required.<\/li>\n
      • Strong organizational and computer skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with diverse teams.<\/li>\n
      • Knowledge of transportation regulations, city geography, and fleet management.<\/li>\n
      • A strong sense of urgency, attention to health and safety standards, and adaptability to flexible work schedules.<\/li>\n
      • Proficiency in different languages is considered an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
