The Role: HSE Supervisor  

In this role, you will spend most of your time on all HSE initiatives. You will work closely with production, engineering, HR.  You will be responsible for delivering outcomes related to HSE Indicators. 

  • Provide leadership to the Trainer – HSE for all training-related activities
  • Develop training material, presentations, and structured training programs to promote employee safety in the workplace.
  • Ensure all training compliance is in good standing and meets internal and external regulatory requirements. 
  • Work with various members of the company to ensure standardized training processes across all departments. 
  • Ensure OHSE compliance with company and government regulations, reporting, and documentation.  
  • Responsible for all ISO-14001, 45001 Management Representative activities and customer environmental reporting. 
  • Maintain OHS Environmental and other relevant audits are completed. 
  • PPE Management and reporting.
  • Ensure all new hire orientations, safety onboarding, and refresher training sessions are completed. 
  • Track training metrics, analyze trends, and prepare monthly /quarterly training performance reports. 
  • Support Joint Health & Safety Committee activities, including occasional meeting participation and follow-up on action items.
  • Support and develop emergency response plans, conduct drills, and ensure readiness of emergency equipment. 
  • Oversee On-site Contractor Due Diligence, approval processes, and record-keeping systems

 

What You’ll Bring 

  • University or college degree/diploma related to Occupational Health and Safety/Environmental Studies.
  • 1-3 years working in the health, safety and environmental field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
